With reference to the dispatch of the Lords of the Committee dated ... transmitting a copy of an Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to Fraudulent Marks on Merchandize.
I have the honour to state that the law now in force in this Colony on the subject is contained in Ordinance No 8 of 1863 which was taken from the "Merchandize Marks Act, 1862" which is now repealed by the Act above mentioned.
